The SME-AFS is a wide range field speaker/amplifier for playback of nature sounds in the field when the internal speaker volume, or lack of internal speaker of the users playback recorder is not sufficient.
The unit is easily transportable and weighs approximately 3 lbs. including 6 "AA" batteries. It is also equipped with a carrying handle and a fully adjustable shoulder strap to carry on person or to hang on a tree. Just connect the earphone jack of the recorder to the input jack of the speaker with the supplied cable. This enables you to playback nature sounds through either your tape recorder or walkman. The unit has its own volume control.
