The SME ATR55 is a low cost, high quality directional electret condenser microphone for the budget conscious. The SME ATR55 is equipped with a normal and long distance switch allowing the user to pick up faint bird vocalizations at a distance and minimizing sounds occurring from the side and rear of the microphone.
